日本伝統の文様の一つである麻の葉(あさのは)を使用した羽織です。
既に13～14世紀には仏像衣服に、この文様は用いられており、非常に長い歴史を誇ります。
江戸時代になると更に普及し、着物の流行図柄として人気を博し、現在に至るまで愛されている図柄ですね。
麻の葉着物でも、ここまで色数が多い物は年代問わず、なかなか見かけないのではないでしょうか。
どことなくサイケデリックな雰囲気も感じさせ、あるようでない雰囲気も魅力だと思います。
また、裏地には花柄も入り、裏面の佇まいも素敵ですね。
