1940～50年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージもんぺパンツになります。

抜群の履き心地の良さとユニークなシルエットが素晴らしい日本固有の作業着パンツ、もんぺです。

今でこそデイリーに履かれる方はいらっしゃいませんが、第二次世界大戦中には、女性の着用が義務付けられていた事もあり、いかに機能的で完成されたアイテムだった事が分かります。

また、近年では「和」の雰囲気を持つアイテムとして再評価され、リラックスパンツとしてブランドからリリースされる機会も増えました。

両サイドにスリットが入り、前後でセパレートする一般的なタイプで、腰紐で縛り、閉じて履く仕様です。

フロントの内側に補強用の布が縫い付けられている、当時のリアルな作業用パンツですね。

また、裾にスナップボタンが付くのも比較的珍しいディテールだと思います。

サルエルパンツのようなシルエットは、今見返してみると相当オシャレですね。
