1930～50年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ藍染蚊絣もんぺパンツになります。
履き心地の良さとユニークなシルエットが素晴らしい日本固有の作業着パンツ、もんぺです。
現代の日本では、デイリーに履かれる事は無くなりましたが、第二次世界大戦中、女性の着用が義務付けられており、当時、もんぺが機能的で完成されたアイテムだったという事を物語っています。
また、近年「和」の雰囲気を持つアイテムとして再評価が進み、新品のブランドからもリリースされておりますし、古布の評価の高まりも受け、こちらのようなオリジナルが気になられていた方もいらっしゃると思います。
両サイドにスリット、前後がセパレート、腰の紐で縛り、閉じて履くスタンダードタイプです。
雪ん子絣に並び人気の高い蚊絣なのもポイントですし、蚊絣は他の絣模様よりも格段に貴重です。
また、フロント内側に補強用の布が縫い付けられたり、裾にスナップボタンが付くのも、作業性を良くするディテールですね。
