1930年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ木綿布団皮になります。
綿入り布団の外側の布、布団皮(ふとんがわ)です。
世界中で評価される日本の古布らしく、雰囲気も非常に良く、テキスタイルとしても素晴らしいお品だと思います。
解かれ、一枚の布になっておりますので、扱い易いですし、用途が広がります。
また、当て布によるリペアや継の布も、デザインとして見れるファブリックだと思います。
ダメージ等も味わい深く、襤褸布としても良いですね。
ダメージ部分から藍染糸が見えますので、一応藍染にはなりますが、独特の色味も魅力ではないでしょうか。
額装したりお部屋に飾ったりと愛でるインテリアファブリックとしてお使いいただけます。
また、サイズも大きめなのでリメイク材料としても良いですね。
古布は想像以上に見付からず、貴重なアイテムですので、まだ見つかる今の内にコレクションに加えられては如何でしょう。
