・年代:昭和初期～中期頃
・素材:木綿/絹だと思われます。(断定はできかねます。)
昭和初期から中期頃のジャパンヴィンテージ布団皮になります。
当時、布団として使用されていた綿入り布団の外側の布、布団皮(ふとんがわ)。
元はもっと大きな布団だったようで、それが解体され、現在の状態となったようです。
一枚の布になっているので、用途が広がりますし、扱い易くなっているのも魅力ではないでしょうか。
色味に柄も素晴らしく、やはり古い布は最高ですね。
どこか1950～60年代頃のアメリカのシャツに有りそうな感じも個人的には魅力だと思います。
また、ここ数年でこちらのような布団皮やはぎれ含む日本の古い布は、古布(こふ)と呼ばれ、世界中の方から支持を得るまでになりました。
リメイク作家は勿論、テキスタイル・ファッションデザイナーからも評価され、なかなか良い物が見つからなくなってまいりました。
他の布よりもサイズが大きく、リメイク素材やパーツ取りとしても十分にお使いいただけます。
藍染や襤褸、刺し子布だけがジャパニーズファブリックではありません。
どこか懐かしさを感じるモダンなテキスタイル、コレクションの一つに如何でしょう。
額装するのも楽しいです。
年々、減少の一途ですのでこの機会をお見逃し無く。

・ Date: Early Showa to Middle Showa
・ Material: It seems to be cotton / silk. (We cannot make a decision.)
It will be a Japan vintage futon cover from the early to mid-Showa period.
Futongawa, the outer fabric of a futon containing batting used at that time.
It seems that it was a bigger futon, and it was dismantled and seems to be in its current state.
Because it is a single piece of cloth, it can be used for a wide range of purposes, and it is also attractive that it is easy to handle.
The color and pattern are wonderful, and the old cloth is the best.
I also think that the feeling that is likely to be found in American shirts somewhere around the 1950s and 60s is personally attractive.
Also, in the last few years, such old Japanese cloths as futon skins and rags have been called kofu and have gained support from people all over the world.
Not only remake artists but also textile and fashion designers have been evaluated and it has been difficult to find good things.
Larger than other fabrics, it can be used as a remake material or parts.
aizome, boro and sashiko fabric are not the only Japanese fabrics.
A modern textile with a sense of nostalgia, one of the collections.
It is fun to frame.
