1930～40年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ襤褸古布になります。

布団にあたる布団皮(ふとんがわ)として、当時使用されていたアイテム。

Japanese Fabric全般、国内外問わず非常に人気が高いアイテムで、壁掛けや敷物としてのインテリアファブリックやリメイク資材としてご使用になる方が最近では多いですね。

年月の経過もあり、野良着と同様に、最近では殆ど見掛ける事も無くなってきましたので、気になっていた方はお早めの入手がお勧めです。

両面共に数種の生地でつぎはぎされ作られており、とても見応えがあると思います。

メインになる赤い生地の模様も珍しいですし、直しの生地のチョイスもセンスが良いですね。

これも物資が無かった事が理由になりますが、今現在、この感覚が評価されているのは嬉しいですね。

また、日焼けなどの色落ちも雰囲気を良くするディテールで、実際に使われ年月を重ねた物でしか、この表情は出せません。

綿も綺麗に取り除かれていますので、通常の布団皮よりも嵩張らず、扱いやすいのではないかと思います。

日本の古布はオリジナルの状態で持っておくのも良いですし、何かに作り変える良さも魅力ですね。
