元は布団皮として使用されていた物が解かれた古布です。
こちらのような日本の古い布は現在、ジャパニーズファブリックと呼ばれ、海外からも非常に高い評価を受けているアイテムの一つです。
壁に飾ったり室内を装飾するインテリアファブリックとして、また、リメイク材料として洋服をお作りになる方も多いですね。
ジャパンブルーらしい深く濃い藍染はただそれだけで価値がありますし、藍染にイエローの格子とのコントラストも本当にかっこいいと思います。
また、生地がまだ固い状態なので、これから育てていく楽しみもこの布団皮にはあると思います。
サイズも大きめですし、用途は多種多様ですね。
