東北地方で発見した大変貴重なアンティークです。
当時、主に農作業の際に着られていたアイテムでして、世間一般では野良着(のらぎ)と呼ばれています。
また、最近では、「Noargi」として海外や日本のファッションブランドからも注目されているアイテムでもあり、襤褸や刺し子といった文化にフォーカスが当たる今、決して無視できないジャンルの一つだと思います。
仕立てた頃、家庭に手持ちであった生地を使用して作られた物だと思われます。
人気の高い絣や縞模様の生地がつぎはぎされ、クレイジーパターンまたは日本的なつぎはぎの美しさを感じさせます。
また、表面の肩周りのつぎはぎのリペアも非常に良い雰囲気で、襤褸としても評価いただけると思います。
また、裏面には藍無地の生地が使用され、ジャパンブルーらしい色味はとても美しいです。
なお、荒く刺し子が入るのも見所の一つで、ハンドステッチならではの味わいも魅力ですね。
