昭和時代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ裂き織り古布になります。
傷みが進んだ布や着物等を細く裂き、再度織り上げた布や衣類を裂き織り(さきおり)と言います。
エコやリサイクルの原点ともされ、その歴史は江戸時代の中期頃まで遡ります。
裂き織りは、寒冷でシルクやコットンが近代まで大変貴重だった東北地方で盛んに作られました。
現在は工業化が進んだことにより、裂き織りを織ること自体が、殆ど消滅しましたが、独特の風合いや芸術的価値が評価されるようになり、テキスタイルデザイナーや作家も存在するほどになっています。
その裂き織りを再現した布です。
詳しい年代までは分かりかねますが、おそらく30～40年ほど前の物ではないかと思われます。
数色の格子がミックスされたテキスタイルで、裂き織り独特の織り目が素敵です。
また、ナチュラルな雰囲気とモダンさが見事に調和していますね。
ラグとして床に敷いても良いですし、アート～インテリアファブリックとしてディスプレイしても素敵だと思います。
このくらいのサイズの物は新旧問わずなかなか出回りませんので、気になられていた方は如何でしょうか。

Sakiori is a cloth or kimono that has been torn into pieces and woven again.
It is also regarded as the origin of eco and recycling, and its history goes back to the middle of the Edo period.
sakiori was actively made in the Tohoku region, where silk and cotton were extremely valuable until modern times due to the cold weather.
Nowadays, weaving sakiori has almost disappeared due to the progress of industrialization, but the unique texture and artistic value have come to be evaluated, and textile designers and writers are also present.
It is a cloth that reproduces that sakiori.
I don't know the exact age, but it's probably about 30 to 40 years old.
The textile is a mixture of several colors of lattice, and the unique texture of sakiori is wonderful.
Also, the natural atmosphere and modernity are in perfect harmony.
You can lay it on the floor as a rug, or display it as an art-interior fabric.
It's hard to find items of this size, old or new, so what about those who are interested?
