・生地年代:昭和初期～中期頃
・素材:木綿
昭和初期～中期頃の木綿古布を、手縫いで縫い合わせたリメイクスカーフになります。
サイズ問わず貴重で、最近ではなかなか見付からない雪花絞りと藍染絣の木綿生地を使用しております。
二種類の生地のコントラストがとても良く、パッチワーク系のつぎはぎとは違った良さがあると思います。
巻き方や合わせ方を変えるだけで、その都度ニュアンスが変わり、様々な表情をお楽しみいただけます。
生地の風合いと質感を活かす為、生地の接合部分は良い意味でラフに縫い合わせています。
ミシンで縫ってしまうと、ステッチ周辺のテンションが変わってしまい、違和感を感じさせますので、このくらいのバランスが良いかと思います。
また、元の汚れやダメージ等も非常に味わい深く、ディテール一つ一つがかっこいいです。
これから更にリペアを続けていき、育てていくのが良いですね。
