1930～50年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ布団皮になります。
日本的な雰囲気の格子模様が印象的な古布。
当時、布団として使用されていた所謂、布団皮(ふとんがわ)になります。
日本国内のみならず、世界中でここ数年、一気に人気と評価が高まったお品です。
布団皮は、はぎれよりも大きいので、リメイクやリペア用の素材、インテリアファブリックとして幅広くお使いいただけます。
また、既に中綿が取り除かれておりますので、扱い易さも魅力ですね。
色味に襤褸なリペアも可愛らしく、テキスタイルとしても美しいです。
ただの古い布と思う事なかれ、古布は想像以上に貴重で、なかなか簡単には見つからなくなりました。
