野良着や火消し、またはお祭りの際に着用されていた日本固有のボトムス、股引(ももひき)です。
今回のお品はお祭り用に製造・着用されていた股引です。
股引らしいタイトでユニークなシルエットはオンリーワンですし、存在が良いアイテムですね。
また、腰紐を調節する所作も楽しいですし、トップスをインした場合、紐がアクセントになって素敵だと思います。
