昭和初期～中期頃のジャパンヴィンテージ布団皮になります。
花柄が非常に美しく、カラーリング含め、テキスタイルとして素晴らしいお品だと思います。
当時、中綿布団として使用されていた布団の外側の布、布団皮(ふとんがわ)です。
日本国内のみならず、世界中でここ数年で一気に、人気と評価が高まったお品です。
デザインがとても良いので、このままインテリア～アートファブリックとして、ディスプレイしても素敵です。
また、額装しても更に見た目が良くなりますね。
布団皮は、はぎれよりもサイズが大きいので、リメイクやリペア用の素材として、贅沢にお使いいただくのも良いかと思います。
ここまでデザインの良い古布もなかなか見付からないですね。
襤褸や刺し子、藍染、つぎはぎ系とは違った良さのあるお品です。
古布は想像以上に貴重ですので、お早めに。
