昭和初期～中期頃のジャパンヴィンテージ布団皮になります。
日本的な雰囲気の格子模様が印象的な古布ではないでしょうか。
当時、布団として使用されていた中綿布団の外側、布団皮(ふとんがわ)です。
日本のみならず、欧米を中心に世界中で、一気に人気が高まったお品です。
布団皮は、はぎれよりもサイズが大きいので、リメイクやリペア用素材、インテリアファブリックとして幅広くお使いいただけます。
全体に日焼けと思われる色むらがございますが、雰囲気がありますし、テキスタイルとしても美しいです。
また、色味がとても良いですね。
生地が硬いので、これから経年でどう変化していくか、それも楽しみです。
古布は想像以上に貴重で、なかなか簡単には見つからなくなりました。
年々、減少の一途ですのでこの機会をお見逃しなく。
