1920～30年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ藍染襤褸綿入れ半纏になります。

日本ならではのデザインと雰囲気が素晴らしい中綿の入った防寒具、綿入れ半纏です。

日本人なら着用経験の有無は別として、多くの方が知る定番のアイテムの一つでもあります。

現代では、一部の方を除き、ほぼ着られる事が無くなってしまったアイテムでもありますし、現行で製造・販売されている物は、デザイン性に優れておりませんので、拘るとどうしても古い物になっていきますね。

ただでさえ古い半纏は見つからなくなりましたが、この個体はアーカイブ級のスペシャルピースと言っても過言ではないと思います。

特に裏面の袖部分のつぎはぎや刺し子などリペアは、物凄い雰囲気を放っており、襤褸としての価値も十分だと思います。

色の濃淡差や汚れも計算されたかのような雰囲気で、パッチワークの様にも見えてきます。

ハンドステッチは蠢くようであり、迫力と直された方の想いが入っているかのようです。

ここまで着込まれたに捨てる事ができなかった当時の過酷な状況を感じさせますし、これがアートとして評価されるのも納得の人間の業だと思います。

ジャパンブルーらしい裏面の色味も良いですし、表面のシンプルな藍染縞模様も素晴らしいです。
