エコやリサイクル意識の向上を受け、再評価が進む風呂敷(ふろしき)です。
また、こちらのような古い風呂敷も含めた古布全般、世界的な評価の上昇と共にどんどん見つからなくなってまいりました。
現代の布にはない当時らしい雰囲気、評価されるのも納得ですし、大事にしていきたいですね。
カラーリングに縞模様のパターンも素晴らしく、テキスタイルとして非常に洗練されていると思います。
また、ここまで大判の風呂敷はなかなか見つかりませんし、様々な用途にお使いいただけます。
壁掛けやソファに置いてインテリアファブリックとしての使用、また、スカーフやストール等のファッションアイテムとしても良いと思います。
