1950～60年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ印半纏になります。
起源は江戸時代まで遡るアイテム。
この印半纏は、使用人や職人、火消しが日常的に着るワークウェアやユニフォームにあたるアイテムです。
襟や大紋、腰柄などに着用者の所属や名前、意思を示す事が多く、最近ではこれらの部分が特に海外で支持されています。
ダイレクトに日本的な雰囲気や美しさを感じさせるアイテムですし、海外で評価されているのも納得だと思います。
まだ、日本国内で林業が盛んだった頃の製材所の印半纏ですね。
襟や大紋などのシンメトリーなデザインは、直線的そして日本的な力強さを感じさせ、凛とした佇まいが美しいと思います。
また、腰柄が入った印半纏は既に見つかりづらいですし、腰柄の角字もモダンでかっこいいですね。
