半着とも言われる長着に比べ、着丈の短い着物。
一般的な着物のように裾をたくし上げて袴(もんぺ)を着用しなくてもよいので、腰周辺がすっきりとし、動き易いのも特徴の一つです。
膝上の着丈に全体の洗練された佇まいは、ジャケットとして着るのに最適なアイテムだと思います。
また、礼装関係の和服を除き、非常に希少な黒が使われています。
