昭和中期頃のジャパンヴィンテージ木綿縞模様古布になります。

ここ数年、世界的な評価の高まりを見せる日本の古い布、古布(こふ)です。

独特な生地感に色味、柄、風合い等々、魅力も豊富でテキスタイルとしても支持されています。

リメイク作家や各デザイナーの方々も熱心に探されておりますので、気になっていた方は今の内に手に入れておかれた方が良いかもしれませんね。

最もスタンダードですが、探すと本当に見つからない木綿です。

発見時、もっと長い反物でしたが、当方で使い易いようカットさせていただきました。

日本らしいピッチの縞模様も良い表情で、素晴らしい雰囲気だと思います。

まだ、生地が硬めで、これから育てていく楽しみがありますね。

柔らかくなるのも時間がかかると思いますが、その時間に意味があります。

スカーフやストールといったファッションファブリックとしては勿論、リメイク素材としてお使いになられても良いですね。

想像以上に貴重な木綿の古布です。

年々、減少の一途ですのでこの機会をお見逃し無く。
