1950年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ襤褸古布になります。
世界から評価が高く、最近では発見・入手共に非常に困難になってきた日本の古い布です。
今回のこちらの布は、襤褸/BOROとして世界でも通用するレベルだと思います。
一般的な襤褸布は藍染が中心になってきますが、汚れも含み、こちらは何と珍しいナチュラル～ホワイトのような色味で、とても珍しいです。
英語の文字を読み解くと、戦後に輸入された砂糖が入っていた砂糖袋が使用されています。
また、この英語のフォントも50sらしい力強さを感じさせ、とても良いと思います。
そして、所々には雪花絞りや縞のジャパニーズファブリックが使われ、全体の雰囲気が見事に調和していますね。
まだ、戦後の厳しい時代の物なので、ハードに使われたようで、所々のつぎはぎのリペアやダメージ、汚れも圧倒的な雰囲気だと思います。
襤褸として良いレベルですし、テキスタイルとしても素晴らしいですね。
まだ、藍染や刺し子の襤褸に人気が集中していますが、レアなのは間違いなくこちらですし、入手できるのも本当に今だけです。
アーカイブクラスのお品、今の内にコレクションに如何でしょうか。

Japan vintage boro fabric around the 1950s.
This is an old Japanese cloth that has been highly valued around the world and has recently become extremely difficult to discover and obtain.
I think that this cloth this time is a level that can be used in the world as BORO.
The general boro fabric is centered on indigo, but it also includes dirt, which is a rare natural to white color and is very rare.
When reading the English letters, sugar bags containing sugar imported after the war are used.
Also, this English font feels powerful like 50s and I think it is very good.
And in some places, shibori and striped Japanese fabric are used, and the overall atmosphere is in perfect harmony.
It's still a tough time after the war, so it seems to have been used hard, and I think the repair, damage, and dirt of the patchwork are overwhelming.
It's a good level as boro, and it's great as a textile.
The popularity is still concentrated in aizome and sashiko boro, but it is definitely here that it is rare and it is really only available now.
