1950～60年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ印半纏になります。
日本的なモダンさが集約された衣類だと思います。
印半纏(しるしはんてん)の起源は江戸時代まで遡り、使用人や職人、火消し達が日常的に着るワークウェアやユニフォームとして着用されていました。
現代でも一部の職人の方が着用されておりますし、会社関係のイベントで目にする機会もあります。
背中に入る大紋(だいもん)や襟、そして腰の柄(腰柄:こしがら)は、着用者の所属する会社や団体、名前等を意味しています。
独特のデザインや漢字は、ダイレクトに日本的な美意識を感じさせ、海外で非常に人気が高いアイテムでもあります。
また、骨董収集等の楽しさから日本国内にもコレクターの方が存在し、最近では古い年代の印半纏はなかなか出会う事が減ってまいりました。
第二次世界大戦後の復興期にあたる物で、復興に向かう当時の日本の力強さや職人のプライドが滲み出てくるかのような雰囲気を感じさせます。
着込まれた事により、コットンの風合いも非常に良くなっており、全体のオーラがとても素敵だと思います。

1950-60s Japan vintage hanten jacket.
