明治時代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ襤褸古布になります。
100年以上前の大変貴重な古布です。
ここ日本も戦火や数多くの災害などがあり、激動の時代ばかりでしたが、奇跡的に残り、既に存在自体に価値があるお品だと思います。
既に古い年代の布自体が、ほぼ見つからない状況になりました。
また、世界的にも襤褸や刺し子、日本の布(Japanese Fabric)の評価の高まりもあり、海外へ流出しているのが現状です。
アメリカの501XXやそれよりも古いインディゴの遥か上をいく藍の美しさだと思います。
これも合成インディゴではなく、天然の正藍だからこそですし、使い込まれた圧倒的なオーラの凄さは一見の価値があります。
また、筒描の模様や所々のつぎはぎ、リペアやダメージも雰囲気良く、それぞれの部位だけ見ても楽しめると思います。
テキスタイルとして素晴らしいデザインになっていると思いますし、これは襤褸(BORO)として評価せずにはいられませんね。
壁に飾ったり、ソファに掛けたりとインテリアファブリックとしても良い働きをしてくれると思います。
また、額装してミュージアム風にディスプレイするのも素敵ではないでしょうか。
アイディアソースとしても持っておいても損はないですね。
ここら辺のレベルの物は、あと数年でミュージアムランクになりますので、お早めに。

It becomes Japan vintage boro fabric around the Meiji era.
This is a very precious cloth over 100 years ago.
Here in Japan, there were wars and a lot of disasters, and it was just a turbulent era.
Already the old fabric itself was almost undetectable.
In addition, boro, sashiko, and Japanese Fabric have been increasingly evaluated globally, and the current situation is that they are leaking overseas.
I think that it is the beauty of indigo that goes far above American 501XX and older Indigo.
This is because it is not a synthetic indigo but a natural aizome, and the overwhelming aura that has been used is worth seeing.
In addition, tsutsugaki patterns and patchwork, repairs and damage are good atmosphere, and you can enjoy looking at each part alone.
I think it's a great design for textiles, and I can't help but evaluate this as boro.
I think that it works well as an interior fabric such as decorating on a wall or hanging on a sofa.
Also, it would be nice to frame and display it like a museum.
There is no loss even if you bring it as an idea source.
Things around this level will become museum ranks in a few years, so stay tuned.
