・素材:コットン
1920～30年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ襤褸布になります。
日本的な繊細で柔らかな雰囲気の格子が印象的な布。
また、ここまで大きいサイズの襤褸布となると、殆ど目にする機会もなく貴重ですね。
元は布団皮として使われていたのか、仕切りや敷物だったのか、用途は分かりませんが、時を重ねた現代に残っている事自体が貴重かもしれませんね。
所々のダメージや愛嬌のあるリペアも印象的ではないでしょうか。
リペアの部分は裏表それぞれ雰囲気が異なりますので、見ていて飽きないと思います。
また、フェードし良い感じになった生地の色味と雰囲気は良い表情です。
これも木綿ならではですし、日本の古い木綿は言葉では言い尽くせない魅力が沢山ありますね。
大きいサイズ感なので、壁掛けや間仕切りのインテリアファブリックとしてお使いになられても良いのではないでしょうか。
リメイクや服、小物作りにもお使いいただけますね。
野良着や半纏もそうですが、日本の古い木綿を使用したアイテムは想像以上に見つかりません。
年々、減少の一途ですのでこの機会をお見逃し無く。

A cloth with an impressive check pattern with a Japanese delicate and soft atmosphere.
Also, when it comes to a boro fabric of such a large size, it is precious with almost no opportunity to see it.
I don't know if it was originally used as bedding, or a partition or rug, but it may be valuable to remain in the modern times.
Isn't it impressive that repairs with damage and caress in some places are impressive?
Since the atmosphere of the repair part is different on each side, I will not get tired of watching.
Also, the color and atmosphere of the fabric that fades and feels good is a good expression.
This is also unique to cotton, and Japanese old cotton has many charms that cannot be described in words.
Because it is a large size, it may be used as an interior fabric for wall hangings or partitions.
You can also use it for remakes, clothes and accessories.
As with noragi and hanten, I cannot find any items using old Japanese cotton than I expected.
