1940～50年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ綿入れ半纏になります。
18世紀以降、一般庶民の間でも着用される事が増えていった着物の一種、半纏(はんてん)。
半纏の中でも中綿を入れ、防寒用として着られる綿入れ半纏です。
日本人のイメージとしては、今まで野暮ったい印象があるアイテムだと思うのですが、それも過去の話となりました。
現在では感度の高いファッションブランドから、Hanten JacketやDoteraなどの名称で、この綿入れ半纏からインスピレーションを得たアイテムがリリースされる事も増えてきました。
野良着や羽織、印半纏もそうですが、ジャパンヴィンテージが国内外問わず、ファッションとして認知され始めた今、古い物は見ておくべきです。
表面は日本の縞模様らしい色とピッチが数種で、独特のリズムがあります。
襟部分の手縫いの直しも味わい深く、愛着を持って着られたことが分かりますね。
