1930年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ綿入れ半纏になります。
江戸時代、特に18世紀頃から庶民の間でも着用される事が増えていった着物の一つ、半纏(はんてん)。
その中でも防寒用に中綿を入れた綿入れ半纏になります。
日本国内で綿入れ半纏と言うとどこかレトロで野暮ったい印象があるかもしれませんが、それも過去の話で、現在では感度の高いファッションブランドや海外から、Hanten JacketやDoteraとして少しずつ評価が上がっています。
古い物は見た目と雰囲気、ファッション的な点でも素晴らしいのですが、現存数が非常に少ないので、早いうちにゲットしておいた方が良いと思います。
綿入れ半纏や野良着などのジャパンヴィンテージの中でも非常に珍しい無地です。
裏面も切り替えはございますが、身頃の生地が無地なのでなかなか見かけない仕様の個体です。
両面共に藍染でないというところもある意味珍しいディテールです。(裏面の袖先の生地は藍染)
また、硬めの木綿生地も重厚な雰囲気で、所々の色落ちなどもとても良い表情を見せてくれます。
無地なので合わせ易さも抜群に良いですし、良い意味で和服のテイストが薄く、モダンな洋服のような雰囲気も魅力ではないでしょうか。
リバーシブルで着る事ができますし、街でこの半纏を着ていたらとても粋でかっこいいと思います。
古い綿入れ半纏の中でも、ここまでレアなスペックの物はなかなか見つかりませんよ。
