とてもモダンで古い物らしいセンスの良さが魅力の麻の布です。
ここ数週間ほど、様々な年代のお客様にkofuをお求めいただく事が多く、とても嬉しく思っておりました。

・年代:1940～50年代頃(端のロックミシンは、後年に処理されたものです。)
・素材:麻
1940～50年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ藍染麻古布になります。
古布の中でも木綿に並び、非常に人気の高い麻布です。
古い年代の物ですが、殆ど使用されなかったようで、ここまで色が濃い状態で残っていたのも奇跡的だと思います。
生地の硬さをお伝えできないのが残念ですが、ゴリ麻(とても硬い麻の通称)ではなく、程よい張りのある硬さも良いと思います。(その証拠に麻特有の折り皺が見られます。)
また、交差する縦に長い絣模様も非常にモダンで佇まいがとても良いです。
反物になるので分かりますが、絣を中心からあえてずらして入れているのセンスが良いですね。
壁に掛けておくだけでも雰囲気の良いインテリアファブリックです。
額装してもおしゃれだと思いますし、使い込んで退色と生地の変化を楽しむのも良いですね。
想像以上にこのレベルの麻布は見つかりませんので、お探しだった方は是非お手元へ。
年々、減少の一途ですのでこの機会をお見逃し無く。

1940-50s Japan vintage indigo hemp japanese fabric.
Along with cotton, it is a very popular Hemp.
Although it is a thing of an old age, I think that it was miracle that it seems that it was hardly used, and the color remains so far.
I'm sorry that I can't tell you how hard the fabric is, but I think it's good to have firmness with a moderate tension. (The evidence shows a unique signature of hemp.)
In addition, the vertically long kasuri pattern that intersects is very modern and looks very good.
I understand it because it becomes a fabric, but it has a good sense that kasuri is shifted from the center.
It is an interior fabric with a good atmosphere just by hanging it on the wall.
I think that it is fashionable even if it is framed, and it is also good to use it and enjoy the fading and fabric changes.
