物を包み、持ち運んだり、収納する為に使用する風呂敷(ふろしき)です。

こちらのような風呂敷や日本の古い布は、古布(こふ)とも呼ばれ、世界中で評価されるまでになりました。

特に木綿の物は、リメイクアーティストやテキスタイル・ファッションデザイナーの方々も熱心に収集されており、今後入手は更に難しくなっていきます。

風呂敷らしい独特な縞模様、テキスタイルパターンとしても素晴らしいデザインだと思います。
