1950年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ風呂敷になります。
物を包み、持ち運びや収納する為の布を風呂敷(ふろしき)と言います。
日本人にとっては馴染み深いもので、明治時代以降、鞄の流入により利用自体は減っていますが、近年のエコ志向や日本文化の再評価の動きもあり、復権の兆しが見えるアイテムでもあります。
畳めばバッグインバッグ感覚でお使いいただけますし、布なので、用途は自由自在で楽しめるアイテムでもあります。
また、ジャパニーズファブリックや古布お好きな方にはたまらないアイテムだと思います。
収集家やリメイク作家の方も多いので、テキスタイルとしてお探しの方も多いのではないでしょうか。
この風呂敷、テキスタイルデザインとしては縞模様のたまに見掛けるタイプですが、何と言ってもサイズが非常にレアです。

Cloth for wrapping things, carrying and storing is called furoshiki.
This item is familiar to Japanese people, and the use itself has decreased due to the influx of bags since the Meiji era. However, due to the recent trend toward eco-consciousness and re-evaluation of Japanese culture, this item is also showing signs of reinstatement.
