1950年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ縞模様風呂敷になります。
若草色のような柔らかい雰囲気の色味が素敵な逸品。
この素朴で独特な発色と生地感は日本の古布ならではの魅力だと思います。
物を包み、持ち運んだり収納する為に使う風呂敷(ふろしき)ですが、用途は自由自在で、どう使おうか考えるだけで楽しくなってきますね。
明治時代以降、鞄が一般市民にも普及していったので、風呂敷を使用すること自体は減っていますが、エコや日本文化再評価の動きもあり、一部で盛り上がっているファブリックでもあります。
