可愛らしいつぎはぎリペアの襤褸布です。
ミュージアムクラスの襤褸も良いけど、色々な意味で手軽に楽しめるのはこちらですね。
この辺の布も値段が上がってきているので今のうちにです。
個人的にも欲しいです。

昭和初期から中期頃と思われるジャパンヴィンテージ風呂敷になります。
日本人にとってお馴染みの風呂敷です。
風呂敷(ふろしき)は、物を包み、持ち運びや収納する為に使う布の事です。
明治時代以降は、バッグの普及により利用される事は減っていますが、近年のエコやジャパニーズカルチャーの再評価の動きもあり、復権の兆しが見えるアイテムです。
畳んでバッグに入れて持ち運ぶ事も可能ですし、布なので、用途は自由自在で楽しめるアイテムですね。
この風呂敷は言うまでもないかもしれませんが、襤褸な当て布のリペアが最高です。
テキスタイルとして狙ったかのようなデザインになっていると思いますし、表裏でそれぞれ雰囲気が異なり、楽しめるのも嬉しいですね。
こうなったのも物資が不足し、簡単に買い替えたり仕立てる事ができなかった当時の状況が反映されています。
エコという観点でも評価すべきですし、テキスタイルアートとして評価するのも現代の我々の使命の一つかもしれません。
とても絵になりますので、壁に掛けたりディスプレイしたくなりますね。
