昭和中期から後期頃のジャパンヴィンテージ裏勝り羽織着物になります。
裏勝り(うらまさり)に将棋の駒等が入った素晴らしいデザインのアンティークです。
裏勝りは年代や素材問わず、ご自身に合ったデザインや思い入れのあるモチーフをお選びになった方が色々な面で楽しいと思います。
裏勝りに将棋が入ったのは縁起物からきているのか、当時のオーナーが将棋好きだったのか、思いを巡らせるのが、古物の楽しみの一つでもあります。
この裏勝りの歴史は非常に古く、起源は江戸時代まで遡ります。
裏地のデザインの事で、当時の幕府は、一般庶民に派手な色彩や図柄の物の着用を禁じる奢侈(しゃし)禁止令と言う贅沢禁止令を出していました。
しかし、庶民は地味な装いを強いられる事に屈せず、考え抜いた末、外側から見えない裏地に凝る、裏勝りが誕生しました。
表面の細やかな小紋も落ち着きと遊び心を感じさせる素晴らしいテキスタイルデザインだと思います。

The history of this uramasari is very old, dating back to the Edo period.
