昭和中期頃のジャパンヴィンテージ布団皮になります。
当時物らしいテキスタイルデザインが素晴らしい古布。
布団として使用されていた布で、元は綿入りだったようですが、取り除かれ、使い易くなっています。
この布団皮含め、日本の古布(こふ)は世界中で評価されており、最近では弾数の減少もあり、本当に良い物に出会う機会が少なくなってまいりました。
布団皮は、スタンダードな古布やはぎれよりもサイズが大きく、リメイク材料やパーツ取りとしても使うことができ、リメイクアーティストの方が熱心に探されています。
また、テキスタイルデザイナーからも日本独特のテキスタイルとして、高い評価を得ており、コレクターの方も多いアイテムです。
遠目から見ると大きめのチェックパターンですが、間近で見てみるとギンガムチェックのような細かなチェックやその他パターン等が集まったユニークなテキスタイルです。
狙って作ったのか分かりませんが、独特のリズムや奥行きを感じさせ、当時の日本人は本当にセンスが良いですね。
リメイク用の材料としては勿論、ストールや壁掛け等のインテリアファブリックとしてお使いになられても素敵だと思います。
雰囲気や色味を吟味していくと行き着く先はヴィンテージです。
年々、減少の一途ですのでこの機会をお見逃し無く。

It will be a Japan vintage futon cover around the middle of Showa era.
Japanese fabric with a wonderful textile design at the time.
The cloth used as a futon, originally seems to contain batting, but has been removed to make it easier to use.
The old Japanese cloth (kofu), including this futon cover, has been evaluated all over the world, and recently the number has decreased, so the chances of encountering really good things have been reduced.
The futon cover is larger than standard old cloth and scraps and can be used as a remake material and parts removal.
In addition, textile designers have a high reputation as a unique textile in Japan, and there are many collectors.
It is a large check pattern when viewed from a distance, but when viewed from a close distance, it is a unique textile that gathers detailed checks such as gingham checks and other patterns.
I don't know if I made it with the aim, but the unique rhythm and depth made me feel really good at the time.
I think it is wonderful to use it not only as a remake material but also as an interior fabric for stalls and wall hangings.
If you examine the atmosphere and color, the destination is vintage.
