It is a Japan vintage aizome cotton noragi jacket around the 1930s.
Until the 1950s mainly, noragi was worn during work such as farming.
After the war, Western culture has penetrated the Japanese rural areas, and it has disappeared.
Due to its unique presence and design in Japan, evaluation has recently begun to progress in various scenes.
Noragi is a classic product, but it is a very well-balanced product on both sides.
In fact, it is a valuable textile design when the surface is a simple striped pattern and the stripes at almost the same intervals are Japanese striped patterns.
And the aizome that looks like Japan Blue on the back is a beautiful word.
The aizome, which is brighter than synthetic indigo and gives a sense of quality, is equally wonderful.

1930年代頃のジャパンヴィンテージ藍染木綿野良着になります。
主に1950年代頃まで、農作業等の作業時に着用されていた野良着(のらぎ)です。
戦後、欧米文化が日本の農村まで浸透した事もあり、消滅していったアイテムです。
日本固有の存在とデザインで、最近では少しずつ様々なシーンで評価が進み始めています。
野良着としては定番の作りですが、両面共にとてもバランスが良いお品だと思います。
表面はシンプルな縞模様、ほぼ同じ間隔のストライプは日本の縞模様だと、実は貴重なテキスタイルデザインです。
そして、裏面のジャパンブルーらしい藍染は美しいの一言です。
合成インディゴよりも明るく、品を感じさせる正藍も同じく素晴らしいですね。
両面それぞれ雰囲気が異なりますので、リバーシブルで着用しても楽しいと思います。
レイヤードを基準に考えると、ほぼオールシーズン着用できますし、一般的な洋服との相性も非常に良いです。
