モダンさとヴィンテージらしい温もり溢れる雰囲気が魅力のテキスタイル。
当時、何に使われていたのか分かりませんが、残していくべき価値があるお品だと思います。
ただの布と思われていたのは過去の話で、現在では古布(こふ)と呼ばれ、世界中の方から人気を集めるまでになりました。
最近では、古布リメイク作家の増加や海外のファッション・テキスタイルデザイナーからも支持されています。
元はもっと大きかったようで、切り離され、一辺のみ切りっ放しになっております。
ステッチを解いて広げても良いと思いますし、今の形をこのまま活かしてお使いになられるのも良いですね。
こんな色味とチェックのバランスが良い生地は、探しても見つかる物ではございません。
気づいた頃には姿を消していますので、お早めに。
